A Urasenke-style tea ceremony experience is offered at a local temple deeply rooted in the community, located just a 3-minute walk from Riad Camellia.

Copying of a Sutra

A Copying of a Sutra experience is offered at a local temple deeply rooted in the community, located just a 3-minute walk from Riad Camellia.

An English or Chinese interpreter will be provided.

Approximately 60 minutes. Includes copying materials and a Sutra book. From ¥6,000 per person (before tax).

Pilgrimage to 88 temples short course A

Explore the area around Kanonji Station, visiting the 68th temple, Jinnein, and the 69th temple, Kanonji, both important stops on the Shikoku Pilgrimage.
The tour also includes a walk around Kotohiki Hachimangu Shrine, famous for its Zenigata Sand Art. From Kotohiki Park, you can enjoy panoramic views of Ariake Beach along the Seto Inland Sea.
After the walk, you will be guided to the café attached to Haku’eido, where you can enjoy the local specialty sweet “Kanonji” served with matcha tea.

Pilgrimage to 88 temples short course B

This tour introduces sacred sites of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage that can be visited from Riad Camellia.
You will take time to visit the 70th temple, Motoyamaji, before walking approximately 3.5 km through peaceful rural scenery to the 67th temple, Daikoji.
This course is highly recommended for those new to the walking pilgrimage (Henro).
